Care of your new tarmac driveway or carpark
Initially, tarmac is supplied and laid at very hot temperatures. When it is levelled and rolled it starts to cool and go hard.
Our tarmac drives will be useable within an hour, but we recommend you take some care for a couple of weeks, especially in periods of hot weather.
Avoid turning your car wheels while stationary.
Care must be taken not to spill oil or petrol on tarmac as this will degrade your new driveway.
Looking further ahead – if in years to come, moss starts to gather on the edges of your driveway treat it straight away with appropriate cleaner and this will prolong the life of your driveway to in access of 20 years.
